AAC Play Groups!
We are excited to announce a series of Summer AAC play groups for pre-school and school-age children! Our AAC play groups offer a fun and engaging environment where children can explore, learn, and make new friends. Led by speech pathologists - and assisted by speech pathology students - who bring extensive experience and a passion for working with young children, our AAC play groups are designed to support language development and social communication through interactive activities and play.
AAC Play Group: 3-4 year olds
This camp will be held in our sensory room so that your child will have access to swings, a trampoline, etc. The SLP and speech therapy student will be present to monitor the children and model AAC during play. Parents can stay in the waiting room where water and snacks will be provided. This is also a great opportunity to meet other parents!

Note: Our SLPs will be prepared to model any AAC platform your child uses. You will be asked to list what type of device and what language system your child uses on the intake form.

Summer Camp 2024
Divergent Therapy Services is excited to offer our first annual summer camp. This camp has been created for school-age children who are preparing to go back to school soon. This camp will be a fun opportunity for kids to socialize with peers and get ready for the upcoming school year. This camp will be held on July 19 and July 26 from 9:00 - 10:30 AM. Students will get to make a craft, prepare and eat a snack together, and participate in lessons about preparing for the school year.
