Back to School Camps!
We are excited to announce Back to School Camps for school-age children! Our camps offer a fun and engaging environment where children can explore, learn, and make new friends. Led by speech pathologists - and assisted by speech pathology students - who bring extensive experience and a passion for working with young children, our back to school camps are designed to offer opportunities for your child to meet children their age and build self-esteem for the upcoming school year!
Back to School Camp: 8-10 year olds
This is a two day camp occurring on Friday in back-to-back weeks
This group is great for our school-aged friends looking for opportunities to meet other children their same age. It is designed for children who are conversational but are a little nervous around peers or just going back to school in general. The theme will be based on the book Wimberly Worried. We will discuss emotions/feelings related to going back to school and social communication. Your child will get to make a craft, get a snack, and participate in lessons regarding social communication and emotions.
When: Friday, July 18 and July 25 from 10:00-11:30AM
Where: Leeds, AL
Who: 8-10 year-olds
Number of Participants: 4
Cost: $80
Note: Parent/caregiver must remain in the clinic if your child requires assistance using the restroom. Water and snacks will be available in the waiting room for parents. This is also a great opportunity to meet other parents!
